VINTAGE KODAK REFLEX TLR CAMERA - CLEANED AND FILM TESTED!! ***READ WHOLE DESCRIPTION FOR VALUABLE INFORMATION!! This vintage camera is a beauty! It works great and takes wonderfully clear photographs. YOU CAN USE MODERN 120 FILM IN THIS CAMERA - BLACK AND WHITE OR COLOR FILM! ***See the picture in the photographs above on how to modify the 120 film spool to fit into 620 cameras. You will need to cut the outside edge of the 120 film off with nail clippers so it will easily fit into the 620 film camera. Always use the original 620 metal spool as the "film take up spool" as you take photos.*** You will learn about f-stops and shutters speeds and how they relate to each other and give you great results. Nowadays, the cameras do it all for you without giving you an understanding of HOW. These old cameras help you to LEARN the why and how the optics work. IT'S EASY once you understand it. This camera has been thoroughly cleaned outside and INSIDE (lenses, shutter, mirrors, etc.) then put back together and film tested. IT IS A TRUE "TLR" [Twin Lens Reflex] camera. This means that what you see in the viewfinder is the actual view coming through the bottom lens of the camera. Then as you are looking in the top view window you focus the image using the focusing dial. If you want to print a FREE pdf copy of the original User's Manual for this Kodak Reflex camera, go to: Kodak Reflex YOU CAN USE MODERN 120 FILM IN THIS CAMERA. See images I took with this camera on 120 black and white film. Different manufacturers (such as Ilford, Kentmere B/W or Fomapan B/W film) have different looking 120 film spool ends from Kodak, but the process is the same for how to modify the film spool ends to fit a 620 camera. IT IS VERY EASY TO DO. IF YOU DON'T DEVELOP YOUR OWN FILM, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THE FOLLOWING COMPANY: PROCESS ONE, in Overland, Kansas for developing and printing your films of all types! Film processing, printing, and scanning services | Process One I regularly use Process One for my film developing, and they are very professional and do quality work at a good fair price, especially if you wish to use black and white film. Many local camera shops will send your black and white film out to other developers, then increase the price so that they make some money on your order. SKIP THE MIDDLE MAN and send your film directly to the developer yourself! Just tell them you need your prints "NO CROP" version. T his will allow you to get your images printed in 4" x 4" size image from the 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" square negatives. ALSO, REQUEST THEY SEND THE OLD METAL 620 FILM SPOOLS BACK when they return your order. This vintage Kodak Reflex camera was introduced in 1946 and made until 1948. It was a less expensive version of the more high priced versions by other manufacturers, but the quality was just as good! This has an aluminum body that measures 4.25" wide x 3.75" deep x 6" high. This vintage camera weighs 3 lbs. I have added a modern strong black strap to the camera, because the old leather strap is not recommended to be used. THIS IS A GREAT CAMERA. IT TAKES GREAT PHOTOS WITH 120 BLACK AND WHITE OR COLOR FILM!
