Description
This is color film. You will see it listed elsewhere as black and white film and while it can be developed using black and white chemicals, it is color film. Use ECN/ECP processing and can be color corrected in post to compensate for color shifts. The correct development process for 2383 is ECP-2E. You may be able to use RA-4, but I haven't tried this. I typically shoot this around 6 ISO. It can handle 20, but it still needs good lighting. Neon signs also turn out really well at night. Has great contrast. Is very sharp and low grain and one of my favorite experimental films to use. There is a chance that there may be some small scratches from the rolling process into film cannisters. While not consistent, it is a possibility. Try using it with ECN-2. HCB for 20 min at ISO 20
